Common Goldeneye Male Female Common Merganser Nara Holding Her Bird Feeder First Beach 2004 Sunset Inukshuk Lit At Twilight Inukshuk At Dusk
First Beach 2004 Sunset I believe this is one of the warning shots (like 9:40) - there is still a bit of residual glow in the sky which I quite like.

Female Common Merganser This bird really stood out in the crowd - the beak is vivid red, the feet the bright orange and the spikey brown head is also unusual.

Male Common Merganser Green head seems common for ducks (Mallards obviously, but also American Widgeon's and wood ducks). In my mind, the female is just as showy as the male.
