Red Rock Crab I accidentally pushed the seagull off it's prey. The crab was very much alive but not very bright - when I walked away, the crab sat in the sand feeding on sand. I threw him into the ocean but the seagull was able to fish him out again and eat him for lunch.

Glaucous Winged Gull Flipping Red Rock Crab The gull dispatched the crab pretty promptly. He flipped the crab onto it's back and then ripped off the legs. One he had leg holes, he ripped open the shell and at the body of the crab.
