Horned Grebe
I was really quite surprised to see this little guy pop up. At first I thought it was a Western Grebe because I saw them in the summer, but this is a smaller bird with a much smaller bill.

There is some yellow in the face. I have other angles showing the front and top of the head, but this photo has the best pose.
