Best Picnic Table Ever This table has the best view ever. It's probably under snow for half the year and the drive up needs you to avoid the cows, but you can't beat the view.

Prickly Pear Cactus One of my favorite plants and there was no shortage of it.

Antelope Brush This plant and it's crazy deep roots (much deeper than the plant is tall) is the cornerstone of this ecology.

Bright Golden Aster In Dry Grass I like how you get a splash of colour in a dry and drab background of dead grass. The park labeled this as "Chrysopsis villosa", but apparently that name is now out of date - it's "Heterotheca villosa var. villosa"

Salt Flats With Hills I'm always amazed by how different things can be, even though they are located so close together.

Salt Crust I figured the surface might be pretty much homogeneous, but there is a lot of surface differences.

Pools Of Salt I would love to know why this lake forms round pools. Why not just crust over entirely? This is Spotted lake and it is on private land.
