Jaques and Charles Kayaking

That rock wall is the southern end of Spider Island as seen from Fulton Passage.  The waves were rough
and I got sick pretty quickly.

Cedar Stained Ocean

This is the other side of our hike in Cultus Sound.  The water here is stained brown
from all the cedar in the water supply.

Sundews Growing Through Old Trail Usually Sundews are hard to spot among the carpet of foliage growing in the bog. These ones were growing between old logs that used to be trail.

Wharf in Namu

This is current dock in Namu - large vessels can dock (on the left) and smaller boats (like the 90 foot curve of time)
can use the water level dock. In the background you can see the hotel, jail and entertainment building.

Lake Namu

We went for a swim!  The lake is pretty warm and we had a good swim!

Sign At Settlement BC Parks did a good job providing this history for a number of areas on the trail. The stories make you feel like a wimp.
