Oriental Magpie-Robin These birds would come and go. They aren't setup well for feeding in the mud, but that didn't stop them for getting a meal.

Common Greenshank David Diskin was kind enough to correct my incorrect identification - this is a common greenshank, not a Marsh Sandpiper. The bill here is slightly upturned while a Marsh Sandpiper has a flat bill.

Immature Greater Coucal I've seen this species on most visits to Mai Po - usually startled in a tree flying away. It's large (larger than a crow) and really doesn't sit around for picture taking. This individual showed up in the closest mangrove, took one look around and promptly headed back into the mangroves. This is a poor photo, but I wanted a record that I at least saw it once.
