Big Windows This is a totally synthetic view - there are 8 images making up this composite and quite a bit of painting in the upper right and lower left corners. Some of my favorite features: Thao is both making french toast and eating it, The echer inspired window frame on the far right, and the curved parkay floor.

Broad-Leaved Stonecrop This looks like a desert plant - it's has thick leaves. Sedum spathulifolium if you prefer Latin.

Me on Deck

It's Friday afternoon and we are in Active pass picking up Kayaks (That's
Galiano in the background).

Runabout on the Beach

I think this is one of my favorite shots from the trip.  The point is
a nice white (shell) beach that comes and goes in the tide.

Petroglyph of Seal in Fulford Harbour

From what I know of, this petroglyph (the large eyes, the mouth open with teeth)
means seal. There are petroglyphs on Gabriola and Seals as well.

St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church

First built out of wood in 1880, it was encased in stone in the 1950's.

View From Bed And Breakfast

Sunset is pretty spectacular - that's the Pender Islands across the water.
