I like these super wide angle close stuff + landscape shots. Unfortunatly, they seem to look better in the camera than than they do in pixels.
Helen Under Large Tree
That large tree is a Douglas Fir - these trees grow to be huge. Out here, they are often "eagle trees" because they are taller than the surrounding forest and have good solid branches.
Stephen And His Sunset
Stephen is on the shore next to a rapid formed by the tide change and I believe he is using that to mirror the sunset - much as I did shortly after.
