This the third island of the three sisters in Ganges Harbour.

Early morning, we are getting ready to kayak to the park in Montegue harbour.  That's
Pat in here Kayak.

Done our hike, we returned to the boat. Shame it's blurry.

We've finished our hike and are returning to the Curve of Time.

This is the beach head where you begin the hike to Sagar Lake.  The sign
says that this is a wilderness site and all garbage much be packed out.

Purple stars (Pisaster Ochraceus) come in three different colours - Purple, Brown and Yellow.
The stars (which are quite mobile under water) eat mostly mussels.

Kaying between two islands in the Stopper group (South West of Spitfire Island) we came through this
channel that was only 6 inches deep.  Gliding over shallow water in a Kayak is magic.

It wasn't quite this bad when we set out.

We got the Kayaks in the water and made a bee line for the Hot Spring.  You can
see the remnants of an old pier and the rocks form the hot spring.  You can
see the worn trail up to the spring.

Some of us went fishing, Jenny and Paul went for a paddle.  This is Jenny inlet
and the Mountain behind is (near as I can tell) unnamed.

You can see Ruth is busy collecting stuff leaving poor Bob to watch the world go by.  That's
Vansittart Island in the background.

We are kayaking in Shadwell Passage.  We came here looking for sea otters but didn't spot any.

This is a small unnamed creek off the Nootsum River.  The water was
covered by foam from the water fall at the end.

The Nootsum has nice banks for grazing.

This is Dan and Bob kayaking in a bay off the Burke Channel before we go up the Nootsum River.

That rock wall is the southern end of Spider Island as seen from Fulton Passage.  The waves were rough
and I got sick pretty quickly.
