We are at the taxi site and Wyatt is looking for Shells. Perhaps 4pm.
This is on the promenade
Thankfully we didn't go to the Planet Hollywood, but Sean and Thao did get scalped at the place right of it.
This is down the beach from our cab stop. Nice beach, not terribly busy but light sand.
This fountain is on the island between old and new Vallarta. This was hand held and shot around noon.
This is the fountain in front of Hooters. Hand held, perhaps 4 pm.
Of course this was much cooler in the ocean - these fish were darting in and out the swirling flows.
We are at the second site just playing around. You can see Chris has a little snorkel that he borrowed from the Day-Off cruise.
These schools were pretty skitterish, you chase them and they sped off. The bright yellow tails just disolve into the mirk as they swim away.
These fishy were pretty common and defended a patch of bottom making them fairly easy to photograph. They are a brighter purple/black than this washed out photo look like.
Wyatt would drift for thirty or fourty feet with a good wave. It was a lot of fun.
Go Mark go! His bright orange top to the snorkel shows the film can record bright bits but it doesn't do justice to the rest of the scene.
