Spreading Phlox
I love how the Latin name for this plant (Phlox diffusa) is pretty much the same as the common name. These aren't big flowers (in the 10mm range) but they seem to completely cover the plant itself.

Moss Campion And Top Of Gondolas
The lighting doesn't really call it out, but that the lift station down their on the next ridge, and you can see green lake in the bottom on the valley.
Species: Silene acaulis (Moss Campion)

Moss Campion
At first I though this and Spreading Phlox were the same thing, but they really aren't. It's cool how similar to the two plant's flowers look even though they aren't even in the same family (the leafy bits are substantially different).

Paintbrush
The background and the saturation really makes this photo for me. It surprises me just how hairy these flowers (bracts I'm sure) are.

Alpine White Marsh Marigold - Caltha leptosepala - likes the wet soil. It was most prolific next to the stream and sometimes in the stream.

Small Lake In Meadow
That hill in front of the small lake would be the perfect spot to find a hobbit house. I wonder if that hill represents the end of a glacial advance.
