This is about a second. Amazingly, Andrea was able to do the same thing John Harvey Photo > John Harvey Photo - A Weekend on Salt Spring > Motion Blur Water

This used to be the pier in front of the general store, but that store has long since been closed. John Harvey Photo > John's Overnight Page > Winter Harbour To Brooks Peninsula > Old Pier Next To Stream

Marsh Marigolds In Grasses
I believe this is Marsh Marigold - Caltha biflora. This plant seems to love the water - I only found it in very boggy bits where snow pack or a small stream kept the ground saturated. Species: Caltha leptosepala (White Marsh Marigold)

Every surface was occupied with moss. I suspect his creek runs larger in other seasons. John Harvey Photo > Aristazabal Island > Aristazabal Island - Day 3, 4 > Moss Around Stream

Shiraito Falls By Mountain Temple
I had a tough time finding a good place to take a photo of these falls. The ideal place (I think) is pretty much in the middle of the stream, but I was happy enough with this view. John Harvey Photo > Trips out of the Country > A Second Trip to Japan > Nikko > Shiraito Falls By Mountain Temple

The trees are generally pretty dense but over sections of the creek direct light shines through. John Harvey Photo > John Harvey Photo - Camping > Porpoise Bay, Sechelt > Anugs Creek with Bright Spot

Twenty Six Mile Creek
This fast flowing creek would be bad to fall into. John Harvey Photo > John Harvey Photo - Hiking > Skagit River > Twenty Six Mile Creek

Silverdaisy Creek
I think this is a 30 second exposure with a polarizer to keep within the f-stop range of my lens. John Harvey Photo > John Harvey Photo - Hiking > Skagit River > Silverdaisy Creek

Standing Around Bridge
The bridge deck has been substantially upgraded in the last few years - it isn't scary to cross anymore. I believe this a 1.5 second exposure.

Light Spots Under Bridge
It was bright blue sky out, but the forest canopy is very dense.
