Helen Standing On Snow
Gabi and Eric has this idea of standing on snow every month of year. Unfortunately, I missed their message saying they wanted to join us for this hike. Sorry - my bad.

This is a three image panorama - I have more images of the bottom, but the exposure is so rough (it's all shadown on rock, snow and ice), that they don't scan well.
Hiking Out Of Bounds
This guy had walking poles and good looking boots (I was winded walking up the slope at high elevation) but those would be no match for a crevice.
Okay, we get the point, we'll stop hiking. This snow is from last year and covers the trail. The overhang is icy snow (it felt like concrete), but it may not have been safe to hike over.
