Drinks Igloo
In this igloo was a bar selling local sake - 100 yen a drink. Remember Japan has a near zero policy for drinking and driving - one drink is enough to put you over the line. John Harvey Photo > Trips out of the Country > A Fourth Trip to Japan > Gifu > Drinks Igloo

Another Sake Tasting
The wooden box is a classic way of presenting sake. It's a bit of a pain to drink from though. John Harvey Photo > Trips out of the Country > A Fourth Trip to Japan > Gifu > Another Sake Tasting

Giant Sized Beer Vending Machine
While the 3l can is impressive, at 2000 yen ($24CDN roughly) it's not a great deal. The glass jug is 1060 yen (12CDN roughly), half the price, but at 2l it is 2/3rd the volume. It took Eric, Mark and I to conquer the challenge, but we did empty the beast. John Harvey Photo > Trips out of the Country > A Third Trip to Japan > Shikoku > Giant Sized Beer Vending Machine
