Seal High Up On Rock
I wondered if this seal was blind in one eye - his left eye was cloudy while is right was a normal dark glassy look.

Sea Lions All Over Rock
We didn't really get close enough to get a portrait - waves, rocks - don't want to wake the sleeping beauties.

Harbour Seals
Killer whale snacks. This guys looked plump and furry. It's funny that the images look better in the camera (with a hood) than they did when looking in real life (sun in your eyes).

Pod Swimming By
We were starting to pull away when this pod popped up. That is likely a young whale between the two females and you can see the larger male dorsal fin with a wave in it.
Species: Orcinus orca (killer whale, orca)

Female Orca Blowing

I've seen lots of Orca's on -2 Channel, but seeing them live
is something special.

Male Orca Blowing

The male Dorsel Fins are impressive. They stand out in a group and when the they get close
they are easy to spot.

Female Orca Looking at Us

This whale came up to the boat and just looked at us before diving under the boat and continuing on with the pod.

Pod of Female Orcas

This is a small group out of the large pod. These smaller pods were loosely connected
into the large pod traveling south.
