Blowing Fire
The "blower" has a stick with ball of flame on the end. She puts fuel in her mouth and then spits it past the ball of flame. You can see her hand moving aside.
Helen Getting Warm
I asked Helen not to move and she did a pretty good job considering it's a 10 second exposure. Given how few sparks flew up, the fire was burning pretty well.
Helen Tent And Fire
The light in the tent was a flashlight left on low. I also painted everything with my headlamp so that there would be a bit of backfill.

you could quite clearly see the Milky Way here. I have a picture but of course the plant turned and made everything blurry!
