Palm Tree Silhouettes
I like how palm trees blur in the wind. We were walked down the beach from our All inclusive and the sun set in the Dominican Republic turned out to be bother sooner and faster than I expected. The twilight made for some great long exposures.
Arbutus Branch Over Beach
For me, Arbutus says Gulf Islands. They are much more common on the islands than the mainland, mostly because they like the near sea level elevation and there is so little of that left or accessible around Vancouver. Arbutus menziesii.
