Akihabara is the consumer electronics neighborhood in Tokyo. There are some great camera and computer stores and you can see most of what you are buying before you buy it.
This was at the new years party. The figures are apparently made out of corn husks and they were charging 3 US dollars. This is with the Pronea on board flash.
Lamp In Window
This was the model for my lamp. It's a 12 sided figure. The most common planar shape is the pentagram, but there are a number of triangle cycles as well.
Some Salmon Some Scallops
They had quite a nice digital scale they were using to measure both the weight of the fish and the number of scallops in a bag.
