Black Eared Kite Turning I really wasn't expecting to take photos of this bird - that is why the exposure is so off. I was walking in the area (actually taking photos of butterflies) and the bird flew - much further away than a bird in Vancouver does. I shot with what was set. Shooting a dark bird against an overcast sky is always a poor idea.
