Flare
Normally, there is no way I would use this picture - I generally don't like flawed image capture and the I doubt I could come up with a worse case of flare (the waterproof case had water on the front of it). That said, it gives you a pretty good sense of just how nice it was out there to paddle.
This is the ridge part of the hike. The bush on the right hand side is Hairy Manzanita, endemic to the Low coastal mountains from southern British Columbia to central California. The closest island (far left) is Wallace Island (a park). Going right, the smaller island behind is Jackscrew Island, part of the Secretary Islands.
