Entering the Kilauea Iki Crater

had retreated to 300 feet below the surface.  I have never entered such a strange landscape.

Pressure Ridge in Kilauea Iki Crater

The surface of Kilauea Iki Crater has been pushed up places
and some of the cracks emit warm air or moisture.
