Green Thorntail Hummingbird (Female)
I believe this is a Female Green Thorntale based on images I found on the internet. The males have nice wispy tails. Species: Discosura conversii (Green Thorntail)

Green Heron
These birds can sometimes been seen around Vancouver (it's the Northern limit of their range), but we saw one in Costa Rica. Species: Butorides virescens (Green Heron)

White-necked Jacobin Hummingbird
When I came back from Costa Rica, I discovered they have way more than the two species you see Vancouver so I dubbed this "Blue Headed Hummingbird". The internet showed me the error of my ways. Species: Florisuga mellivora (White-necked Jacobin)
