Haplotrema vancouverense (Robust Lancetooth)

I don't have a good snail guide book (I have never found one), but Robert Forsyth seems to be working on a snail guide book for BC. He was kind enough to offer his opinion on this snail photo:
Hi John,

I've taken a look at your photo. It is a haplotrematid (family
Haplotrematidae), and is a half-grown individual. Not being able to see more
clearly some fine details of shell micro-sculpture, I cannot be entirely
certain of its Identification, but I'd say (about 85% certain) that it is
Haplotrema vancouverense -- the Robust Lancetooth snail, a common (and one of
the larger) species of land snail along the BC coast.

Hope that this helps.

Regards,

Robert
Thanks Robert!
