I love how the beach changes from bed rock to pebble beach in a sudden (and usually sculpted) transition.

That is a really good question. I'm got into photography for two reasons - the first to record memories to extend the value of the free time I did get. Second - to try and create an image that would have garner an emotional response. This web site is mostly about satisfying the first requirement. Some people find it useful, but I suspect some people don't.
