One of the exceptional photo opportunities - a cruise ship coming or going.  The city is so bright
that balancing the exposure with fireworks is challenging.

This is a wonderful shot, very well exposed. I've been looking around at your website today, as I've just attended the Celebration of Light (Italy) tonight. I was set up at the Cambie bridge, and this scene looks very similar to what I saw from there. The fireworks didn't always make it over the buildings, but it was a very pretty sight when they did. To be truthful, I was aiming for the Burrard bridge, but parking conspired against me. I saw a lot of photographers set up there.
