Inukshuk In False Creek

This was the coolest thing about the olympics I saw when I was down there to take in a hockey game. The thought that this is a somewhat spontaneous display being done with no cost and simply from a human need to create or leave a mark, is truly what makes it memorable. I didn't see it until after nightfall and the mist coming off the water, the sheer number of them gave me a real shiver!
