This was a little beach side restaurant - plastic chairs and tables, lots of fast food. That said, the food wasn't just microwave reheat.
Mushroom Clear Broth
Japan has way more mushrooms on the menu than what you commonly see in Canada. Considering it's February (way out of normal mushroom season) I was impressed.
Baby Tempura
The baby eggplant was cute. Behind that are two baby zucchini's. The yellow piece behind is the skeleton of a bony fish cooked to be like a chip or cracker. This was served with a green salt.
Sashimi Plate
I like the flower on top and the sakura shaped slice of carrot. The Shiso is real - not the plastic ribbon we get in the lower price sushi places in Canada.
