These two trees were part of the Chapman Creek trail.  Terry Chapman
(unrelated to the name of the creek) carved a these spirits in the trees.

I'm not really sure what I was going for with this.  We'll see.

This is Duck Creek close to Vesuvius.  I'm always on the look out for pictures with S curves in them.

This is on the short hike around the spit in Montegue Harbor.  Arbutus and Shell beaches
are hallmarks of the Gulf Islands.

The moss on the trees reminds me of some trees in Gold Stream Park
on Vancouver Island.

I'm glad I brought my tripod, most of these pictures were close to 1/4 second exposures.
