Some of our end of summer camping trips:
The trip that inspired them all!  Our first trip in the summer after grade 12 (1992), Heather's Dad took us out to Portland Island and let us fend for ourseleves.  (Eric Jones brought a camera - these are his photos)

Princess Margaret Provincial Park

The following year we went to Gold Stream, but there are no known photos.
The first camping trip where I brought a camera - a disposable 35mm camera from Kodak.  The pictures are hazy and dark but it was a great camping trip.  The trip was done in August of 1996.

Strathcona Park

I had just bought my camera, basically so I could record trips like this.  This was a fairly long trip - four days, and I loved shooting it.  I had my small tripod (you'll see lots of pictures of it), and I shot six rolls of film.  The trip was done in August of 1997.

Manning Park

A short trip, Horne lake was a small crew but a lot of fun.  Other trips have had lots of hiking but this trip was dominated by caving and canoeing.  The trip was done in September of 1998.

Horne Lake

Nine of us on a crazy four day bike camping trip - none of us were prepared for the adventure, the excitement, and what happened when Sean took his shirt off. (1999)

Pender Island

We revive the fall camping experience - with showers and everything. A local forest fire adds a bit of magic to the photography. (2006)

Camping in Manning Park

The Okanagan is one of my favorite places and this year we got to go camping there. Lots of fun with wine tasting and local touring. (2007)

Camping at Okanagan North

And some other trips of note:
It was a short camping trip, but the hot spring made it memorable.  St. Agnest well is an lightly developed hot spring on the Harrison river, north east of Vancouver.

St. Agnes Well

The Year 2000 didn't have a single solid camping trip except for this skin of our teeth "camping trip" in Calgary.  Mike generously hosted us in his house and we took a nice hike in Johnson Canyon.

Calgary

Sean first discovered the Confluence project and told us about the project.   The project is to get people to visit every integer confluence of longitude and latitude around the world and post pictures on their web page.  We chose 50°N, 121°W because it's close to Vancouver and it didn't look impossible to get to.  We rented two mini vans and Friday afternoon we hit the road!

Merritt

We usually try to do something for the May Day long weekend (see Tofino or Salt Spring Island) and this year we wanted to go camping.  The Sunshine coast is new to us, so we thought we would give it a try!  The hike along Campbell Creek was well worth the time!

Porpoise Bay, Sechelt

Levette Lake
Levette lake is in the Squamish area and looked like a fun weekend trip. There are great views of the Tantulus Range and this lovely lake.

Two Hot Springs
Helen had a few days off mid week and had never been camping so we visisted two hot springs - St. Agnes Wells as well as Sloquet Hot Springs. We stopped in to the Skookumchuck Church of the Holy Cross. (2006)

Two Hot Springs

Joffre lakes
Helen's first "Backpack" camping trip and my first in a number of years, we went out to one of the "Big 5" of the Coast Mountains for the August long weekend. (2006)

Joffre Lakes

Field of Flowers, Panorama Ridge
Panorama ridge is a very long day hike but we made a great long weekend camping trip. The alpine flowers were out in force. (2006)
