Sitta canadensis (Red-breasted Nuthatch)

I had to brighten the image quite a bit because the bird is in shadow. That brightening has lost of the pale red breast and added a green tinge to the wings because there is very little red in shadow light.

I'm a little embarrassed about this photo but it's my first photo of this species not taken at a feeder or after the bird hit a window.
