Field Chickweed With Dead Wood This is another one of those flowers that apparently grows everywhere that I have never seen before. It's quite nice how it mats. Again, I figured this was an escaped garden plant.

Yellow Monkeyflowers These flowers were only found here - where water slowly ran over the rocks to the ocean. Of course that is perfect Monkeyflower habitat.

Helliwell Cliffs This slowly eroded cliff is quite different from what you normally find.

Helen And I On Cliff Most of these couples portraits are Helen's idea.

Brittle Prickly-Pear Cactus On Bluff I had not idea these showed up in the Gulf Islands, but Plants of Coastal British Columbia confirms it. I figured this was a run away garden plant in zone denial.

Nara Digging Out Fossil The beach is mostly flat shale. In some places you will see the shale bend into a mound over an encapsulated blob. That blob is your fossil.
